Early Morning Promises?

A wild day of gales, heavy rain at times, even wintry, and then some lovely sunny spells.  Bitterly cold most of the day.

Up at 5am, early shift in the airport.  A busy start on the check-in desk, then moved to meeting and boarding flights.  Even though it was windy, all flights on time.  Ferries to and from Shetland cancelled.   I managed to stay dry when out for walkies this evening.  Off to bed early again. 

The morning are fairly light again now, with sunrise at 6am.  As I headed to work, there was lovely clear skies, and hoped for a fantastic sunrise, sadly didn't come to much.  It wasn't long after I took this, I came across the first sleety hail shower.  6am skies over Mail beach, Cunningsburgh.
