Two sides to every story

Got to school this morning and prepped an enthusiastic paragraph for the weekly newsletter, buoyed up by the Spring flowers outside the entrance.

Sadly, we then found that some kids had decided to use the protective nets over the veg beds as a climbing frame, crushing them. Again. Luckily, there were five of us volunteering and we all got on with it, fixed things, planted out some onion sets with the kids as planned, and then retreated to the cafe for cake and commiserations. All before pick-up time.

And made plans for an evening out next month.

The big event of the day was H heading off on her Brownies weekend to Northumberland! Can't wait to see her on Sunday.
