Lots of nests

There is a group of trees in the village which seem to be the overnight trees for the rooks. Lots of nests and this week noticed lots of activity during the day.
Rain forecast for the day didn’t arrive until late afternoon so we had a nice walk up hill and back via the river path.
An hours reading and a bit of paperwork. Made a leek and orzo dish for dinner.
Saturday so we will tackle the last episodes of the gentlemen.
