Looking south …..

….. ….. ….. along the Arrow River.

Autumn’s colours are increasing every day now.
It’s been mild again today, after a slight frost, some gusty wind but very little.

The forecasts for Glenorchy at the head of Lake Whakatipu for next Tuesday aren’t at all promising, for our trip up the Rees Valley so I’ve spent all evening discussing the situation with the group members planning to come on the trip. I’ve just emailed the company taking us, asking for a postponement. It’s an incredibly beautiful area up there so we’ve decided to wait. I’ll phone the company first thing tomorrow morning, to discuss the next steps. Phew!

The message at church this morning was about Palm Sunday, and the importance of the story behind it; the incredible prophecies & promises from way back that came true, the revelation of Jesus’ true identity and character; it shows us how we can welcome Jesus into our lives today. It was amazing. I don’t think I’ll ever think of Palm Sunday the same way again.
