Theatre at Sea

Although we have been on a few cruises, this is the first on the Ambassador cruise line, which is a small cruise line with a very British feel, which we have enjoyed.

We have enjoyed the cruise’s entertainment, which has been provided by an amazingly talented dynamic troupe. In particular, we have enjoyed the ‘Theatre at Sea’ programme, which as well as longer plays and musicals performed in the theatre, also includes fifteen minute vignettes, performed in various lounges around the ship. We have never been in a ship where they do plays before.

Today’s vignette was ‘Flash, Bang, Wallop’, looking at cruise ship photography down the years. It was fun for both the performers as well as the audience.

Now back in the cabin finishing my latest book, a thriller about a baby kidnapping.

It’s still a bit choppy out there, but hey, it’s March and it’s the North Atlantic, so it’s to be expected.

Enjoy Sunday, all.
