And Now Some Backyard Drama...

There's a lot going on in this photo! First; our blueberry bushes are blooming and setting fruit! Then; this native carpenter bee is doing her part in pollinating the blueberry flowers. Finally, if you look closely; a small red insect is busy munching on the blooms. Not the best image with which to identify such a small bug, but I believe that it's a 'Cotton Stainer Bug' aka Red Bug. I maybe should have dispatched this one, but I live by the 'creed' that I don't automatically kill other living things, particularly if I capture their image. Wishing All of Us a Peaceful Week. m
