Looking across to Maiden Moor from Mary Mount Hotel ... where we enjoyed a bowl of delicious soup + sourdough bread, sitting outside in the warm sunshine at lunchtime today!

You can see the river Derwent too just before it flows into Derwentwater.

If you have climbed Catbells, Maiden Moor is the next fell along the ridge.
