Terrific Tissington Trail

I did a relaxed circuit on the bike using the fairly flat disused railway from Ilam via Tissington, Parsley cafe and Carsington. There were plenty of dog walkers, riders and runners enjoying the say but room for us all.

Then I needed to drive to Glossop, but took a couple of National Cycle Network routes on tiny but utterly stunning roads.

The White Peaks put on their best show for me and the brisk wind helped the second half of the ride, gliding alng the gritted surface at about 18mph :-).

Probably heading N from here tomorrow. If I find a pub with free wifi I'll plan a route.
