Into the Walled Garden at Godington House

We made another effort to get out and about this afternoon having been with Doreen this morning.

Nearly 50 years I’ve lived in Kent and not visited this place. It was rather special in the sharp, bright sunshine and tumbling cloudscape. I was toying with the extra as the main blip but this one gave more of a feeling of the place. It is somewhere we’ll go back to.

We all continue is limbo, suspended animation or whatever you might call it, finding stuff to do. Like today, I replaced the battery in the bathroom scales, replaced the washing line that snapped this morning with the sheets on it and threaded a new cord on the roller blinds. Meanwhile David plumbed in a couple of valves on the bathroom sink taps to reduce the flow.
