Cold frame #2

That was hard work! The uphill side went down into the subsoil, which has a layer of glacial rocks…..they were a nightmare to get out as I only had a narrow trough to work in. 
It will be worth it though. #1is warming up beautifully and I have some tiny seedlings appearing. This is a major triumph as our soil is cold and stony, and faces east into the prevailing wind. Usually nothing will grow until May, and then it tends to be too dry.
This year I’m going to succeed!!.
