250 years of the Five Rise Locks

The canal and rivers trust put on a fabulous festival to celebrate the 5 rise locks being 250 years old.

Lots of activities, music, stalls and boats and water, but the highlight for me was the Morris Dancers. They were fabulous. Miss H and kiddies can across to enjoy the fun - great to share the activities with them.

We also met a beautiful Airedale called Fred, I shed a few tears of course, but had a lovely ‘chat’ with him.
