Claridges

Hubby’s birthday today.
By coincidence, we were invited to Claridges for breakfast by friends who are over from HK - a nice posh start to the day! Bit of an upgrade from Premier Inn :))

We had managed to get free tickets (Martin Lewis website) to the Ideal Home Exhibition at Kensington Olympia.
Enjoyed a talk from one of the stages from the cousins (Stuart & Scarlette Douglas) of our elder son-in-law. Met them briefly afterwards.

Then home for a rest, cup of tea and birthday cake before heading back up to town for dinner.
Went to Moorgate to get the train home but jumped on a bus which pretty much took us to our door. Saved our weary feet a walk home from the tube station.

Lovely day in London for hubby’s birthday.
