Giraffe in the Desert

We took the boys to The Living Desert, the local zoo here in Palm Desert, and my favorite always are the giraffes. Their habitat is so realistic with the backdrop of the mountains, I almost feel like we are in Africa! Of course the boys loved it all and were sufficiently tired when we were done. It was a good day despite cooler than normal weather.
