Tractor Parade

It was my running club's 20 mile road race on Sunday.  I and a colleague were marshalling at a critical junction on the course, and as the runners were drifting past on their second lap at around the 16 mile mark, a long procession of over 60 tractors of all shapes and ages paraded through the village unannounced. They "soaked" the atmosphere in filthy diesel fumes and a few of the runners complained.  We knew nothing of this despite our signs being out for the previous week advising of our race. In the end no damage was done and everyone had a good time.  I decided to post an image of the tractors instead of the runners, who were pretty tired by this point in their race.
