Droning on

A quick first attempt at drone photography.

It's a little cold/windy for hanging around trying to read the friendly manual out in an open field so I quit while I was ahead after managing to take off, land, fly around myself, gain some height and photograph my local trees on a ridge.

Surprisingly easy to fly once the GPS has locked up and has contact with several satellites - and not as noisy as I was expecting.

The weather is not looking good for this sort of thing in the later part of the week so I will have to curb my enthusiasm :-)
