Gravel delivery

When we created our new flower beds in 2020 by laying cardboard and compost on the grass we made a central path intending to cover it with gravel. In the meantime it has been hard to mow grass which kept trying to climb over the edging into the flower bed.
Today we finally received a delivery of gravel, we've bought exotic permeable weed suppressing membrane to go under it and a new shovel. A few weeks ago we sprayed the grass with weedkiller. Now it would be nice if we had a couple of dry days.
The pots on the wall all have random plants I have overwintered where the pile of gravel has arrived, with a view to planting them out this spring.
