The King of fishers

I painted this over yesterday and today, letting various bits dry before I painted the next door section. I found it hard to capture the lichen covered branch but it'll do!
Rob and I had a dash into Cheltenham this afternoon to pick up his glasses from the optician and for me to try frames. Unfortunately Rob's prescription was not quite right so they are going back. I tried on the three frames that had been ordered in for me and eventually settled on one. All will be revealed in about a fortnight.
