World away

A very relaxing day of drinking iced coffee, chilling in the apartment and calling Staffordshire for dear papa’s birthday.

Although I am in Johannesburg and Mozambique for a while until my Tanzania documents are renewed, it’s a complete world away from my previous experience of visa limbo, when I was stuck in the UK during the Covid period with no route to get back to Mozambique. At some point in the next few weeks someone will send my Tanzania permits and I’ll trot on my merry way.

Whilst I sipped my iced coffee I reflected on how grounded I feel now compared to that period.
