Tumbledown

A late breakfast at one of the local garden centres today. Just in time for a free lunch though. Weber was doing a demonstration of their BBQs, and needless to say there were some samples to taste.

After that we went to see the gardens at Crathes, however the National Trust were going to charge £12 for entry to the Gardens. I think that is excessive, the gardens are not worth that. I am a member so entry would have been free, but as one of us would have had to pay we decided to give it a miss. I think maybe £5 would be more reasonable.

We then headed to Johnshaven where we noticed there is quite a collection of tumbledown boats. We also noticed there were quite a lot of Porsches coming into the village. Talking to one of the guys who was looking for a plaque it turned out the were on a Porsche Rally treasure hunt. We sent him in the direction of a small plaque we knew of, maybe it was the right one.

As we returned homeward we found the weather was much sunnier towards Aberdeen and the immediate surrounding area.
