Oh Du Schöne Spargelzeit

Our little stand opened today and naturally it's my job to buy the first bunch of these mini asparagus spears.

Lots of people get iffy about asparagus - the whole "smelly-wee-syndrome" thing.  That's genetic and doesn't affect everyone (cf. Coriander).

These look pretty good - hopefully there will be a positive report from die Spargelesserin.

Very tired.  Too much telephone time.  This long weekend can't get here quick enough.
