The Big Chair, Niddrie

This 18ft granite chair sculpture by Doug Cocker was installed in 2004 to mark the regeneration of the Niddrie Mains area.

Apparently it's inspired by King Arthur's throne!  Of course, Arthur's Seat can be seen clearly from Niddrie.
