TIN FIDDLE

There is no date noted for this exhibit in the Stromness Museum, but the accompanying information card reads:

Tin Fiddle.  After his wooden fiddle got broken on board a herring boat, James Foubister of Newbanks in Deerness made this tin one, which survived.
