Stuff I See

A Tower of Sand*

Today I cycled over to Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, a resort which I last visited 55 years ago as a day trip whilst staying with my French Penfriend, Guy. It’s a lot more built-up than I recall!
My abiding memory of the trip was being sick in their brand new Renault 16.

This 9.5-meter Eiffel Tower, was built by sculptor Alain Godon from blocks of polystyrene, resin and sand. It refers to the past of the seaside resort, Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, where many Parisians came to recharge their batteries.
