Up early and the morning tasks done by 9 o’clock including meal prep for the day. With the rain forecast to continue through the morning I decided on a drive to Windermere for the last few groceries to see me through the holiday weekend.

On the way I stopped at Bowness for a blip wander. The rowing boats are now lined up on the shore (without their oars) but I preferred this shot of the electric hire boats with gull.

Back home I put the recycling out for collection and had a mug of tea by which time there was some blue sky so I delivered the monthly church magazines.

2.7 miles walked (according to my phone) so a more relaxing afternoon is planned. Blip posted earlier than usual.
