COASTAL TOUR

This was unplanned due to rain being forecast at 1pm but as it didn’t arrive we carried on our journey.
#Initially we were just going to Deal (completely forgot I came here October 22 with my lads!)
#we took a slow stroll along the pier and had a coffee at the cafe at the end.

all day L and I were secretly planning a birthday trip in August for C!!! The sudden stops in conversation were so funny

We went for a browse around the shops and C invested in a new cocktail!! And I bought some glittery face masks. :)))

#As the sun was still out we drove down to Ramsgate. We didn’t stop but L had never been so wanted to see it!

#Then onto Broadstairs…the Broadstairs Arch…the sun was hiding now but it was dry! Trying to find lunch was near impossible…sorry kitchen is closed!!!

# The beach was deserted…it won’t be long before it’s packed!!

# L went off on a Lunch Hunt and found this pub. We had a delicious doorstop sandwich!
As we walked back to the car at 3:30 the rain started. How lucky was that?

#When we got back I cooked vodka pasta (it was seriously good) and we finished with my Baileys cheesecake

#all feeling ready for some silliness with glittery face masks!!!
L: “ I look like a glittery mermaid…..well a 61 year old mermaid “ :))))she was the award winner for the silliest comments today… the tambourine playing army was the funniest…but you had to be there to get it!!!
