Nature Diary.. Laurel tree buds

Having missed a pruning session due to the stupid weather we've been having in England our beautiful big Laurel tree has managed to produce several clusters of buds. 
With luck they will all produce healthy seeds which, if we can manage to gather them in time before they 'pop' and their seeds land hidden beneath the tree somewhere, they should make for wonderful little seedlings to start the growth of some more great little laurel trees.
