Mosede Fort

After a morning in the training hall, I drove to Mosede to meet my sister and nephew at Mosede Fortress - a World War I fortress, which is now a museum.

The exhibition "On the Brink of War - Neutrality between Warfare and Welfare" shows how the war affected the daily life of the Danes, and how the government, business community and general population upheld Denmark's neutrality through the four years of war.

It was brilliant. There were Virtual Reality glasses showing battles from the trench and battles from aeroplanes.

There were also phones in every room and when you answered, you got to talk to kitchen staff, the general, doctors and even the prime minister!

Dogs were welcome in the outdoor part of the museum, so the boys had a great time too.

We finished with lunch before we went home.

Happy Easter
