Communicator

When I had my pacemaker replaced last week, they fitted me out with the latest version.  The old one was 8 years old and, of course, things had progressed. My old communicator was no longer compatible with the new device so they had to send out a new one.  It arrived today and goes by the grand name of a 'MyCareLink Relay Home Communicator'.  It essentially does the same thing as the old one did, that is to send data from my pacemaker directly to the Cardiology Dept at Halifax so that they know what's going on and can make adjustments if required.  Modern technology can be quite wonderful :-)
