Could be Nicer

What a foul day!  Gales and sun or gales and torrential rain!  Had a day out visiting friends.  One had recently come back from Aberdeen, where she'd been for surgery on her neck.  She'd been waiting for the op for years, as Covid had come along and delayed everything.  The other friend lives up on a hillside, and we stayed firmly in, listening to the wind whistle around the house.
