Outage- lights out

We are currently without electricity so we have no lights nor heating.
And we won’t get it back until 8 am tomorrow according to a text message from Scottish Power.

It happened while we were watching Death on the Nile at a critical moment in the storyline so it was spooky.
Earlier today we experienced some strange weather conditions. It went very dark then some thunder and heavy rain. It was very localised.
