Riverside Park……

Maisie and I walked the Taylor River Paths as far as the downtown Riverside Park and back early this morning. A little further than usual. The distant building is the popular “Raupo” Cafe- Restaurant. There is a curved footbridge called the “Crinoline Bridge” crossing the river. I was standing on it to take some photos. It is cleverly designed to drop its sides and deck down into the river when it is in flood. The whole area is attractive and well-used…… an asset for the town.
