Seasonal

Being Good Friday these are right in season. 

These remind us, among other things of course, of an occasion in church on the Sunday following Shrove Tuesday when our children were aged 7 and 4. The vicar asked the congregation what they had to eat last Tuesday expecting pancakes as the answer. Our little boy's hand shot up and was selected. 
'Hot cross buns' he said, truthfully. 
Everyone was amused except the vicar!
