Birtle Brook

Not far from me is the little hamlet of Birtle, or if you get there by the other road it is...Bircle. Same place mind...

In Birtle, is Birtle Brook, a retirement village where you can rent (can't buy) a home in what has been built in and on the remains of an old mill complex.

The planners have made some of the old mill stay as a feature.

Here's a key wall, that the new houses are set behind. The old Mill bell still there.
