Good Friday

A soaking walk in the morning was followed by a pleasant, if blowy afternoon.

Wadworth has moved to new, modern premises in Folly Road and this is their final weekend at the iconic Brewery.

So we went to their bar, The Brewery Tap mid afternoon and stayed until they closed at 6pm.

There was a celebratory atmosphere. We met lots of people that we hadn't seen for years and sparked up conversations with tourists to the town.

We joined Dee and Trevor for dinner afterwards and then went on to the White Bear.

I left Clive at the pub because it was heaving and I decided Hetty had probably had enough. She enjoyed the long walk home.

Fabulous day, well spent.
