Berry-Picking

Despite the dreary weather, we went to Gilbert's Farm today to pick some berries. For 13 dollars I was able to make strawberry shortcakes for supper, two batches of jam, and froze another bunch for smoothies for the winter.

They were soooooo good. And I must say that nothing tastes better than a sun-warmed strawberry!
