Flower Friday (29th March 2024)

I had a trip to Caen Hill and Devizes on this day in appalling weather but photographically speaking it was a total failure.

Luckily I had done a tour of the garden earlier in the day and recorded these Joker's Hats, three weeks earlier than last year's first appearance.

Ty Segall - Night of the Vampire (2021)
I've just been listening to an edition of Iggy Pop's Confidential that was broadcast 7 November 2021, during which he played this piece that comes from May The Circle Remain Unbroken - A Tribute to Roky Erickson, by various artists and released that year. It includes a number by Neko Case so I will have to check that out. Night Of The Vampire was written by Roky Erickson for the self-titled album by Roky Erickson and the Aliens in 1980.
