Look Into my Eyes

An early notification to say there was a Long Eared Owl in Hoswick and as I was headed that way I took the big lens. On reading about them it is probably female but she didn't hang around longer than one shot so not as sharp as I would have liked. The Shetland bird book describes  it as a "scarce migrant and rare winter visitor".
It was a lovely day of weather with most of it spent in the garden.
