TARR STEPS

A lovely day out. Four of us from the  Camera Club spent most of the day around the Exmoor National Park. Our first destination was the wonderful clapper bridge of Tarr Steps across the river Barle. While it was busy with visitors I managed to grab an image with no one on it. It did get partly demolished with some heavy flooding some years back but has been restored to its former glory.

From there we visited, had lunch and wandered around the town of Dulverton, which lies on the edge of Exmoor. Then started to wend our way back to Barnstaple, but not before stopping for tea and cake at the newly reopened Boeveys Tearoom at Simonsbath.

And no rain all day, cloudy at times but the sun did shine:-)
