Wood Duck Day

It was a wood duck day at Southlake Farm.  First a solo mallard flew in to the pond.  We call him Donald the bachelor because he always flies solo.  Then two pairs of wood ducks flew in.  I was fortunate to capture this pair from my sunroom observation platform.  Not too bad through the window.  We are in the process of improving the water flow to the pond as well as the waterfall that helps control the pond depth.  So, I hope the ducks all appreciate it.
