A pretty shrub

This shrub starts the year in this pretty reddish/pink colour before turning green.  Unfortunately the lower part of the shrub is being eaten.  We think it is a muntjac.  And it is not the only shrub under attack!

Today we started cleaning our garden furniture for the summer.  Decking and patio cleaning come next!
