Backblip

Morning service then up to the URC church to start our walk of witness. It was a glorious day with a beautiful blue sky. We carry the cross through the village via all three churches. Back at our hall, four of us had a fish and chip lunch before the next service at 2pm.

It was still nice and sunny as we started the service but as the service went on it got darker and darker. As we reached the end of the reading of the passion it was really dark and there was a sudden clap of thunder, which lasted on and off for about ten minutes. It was 2.50pm. It was incredible timing and made the service very atmospheric. Soon after we had the sunshine back and a lovely blue sky again.
