Loch Ryan

Usual tip trip with garden waste, screwfix for staples, petrol, garden centre to order pots and buy compost then supermarket and village shop.
The garden centre is on the west side of Loch Ryan with the Irish ferries across the opposite side.
Through the mouth can just be seen Ailsa Craig which is a small, uninhabited island located in the outer Firth of Clyde, approximately 16 km / 10 miles west of the Ayrshire Coast.
The island is known for its microgranite, quarried for centuries to make curling stones.
Fine day.
