Raindrop sparkles on the lower lochan at the campus, before heading into work. Ran the Francis turbine kit for a while to test yesterday's repair – all cool, now. Took some thermal images, and may add one at a later date.

Close to work on my cycle in, that new noise I heard as the wheel was spinning, was air coming out of my tyre each time a puncture area touched the ground, as I soon discovered at the tight turn at the end of the Golden Bridge... that familiar and horrible squirming tyre sensation. Short walk to the College, which was within sight. Skipped the planned evening swim and shop, to fix that puncture before going home.

Received a very cheap collection of old Nikon F65 film cameras for testing/cleaning-up/repair, plus another Nikon SB-600 flash with leaked battery damage (pristine otherwise). Interested to learn if the cameras have a regular type of fault, if they're easily repairable, how they're fitted together, and how they work. Might not fix any of them, but it'll all be a learning experience.
