Easter night

When the congregation walks at midnight (counterclockwise) around the church, it commemorates the search for Christ by the women who found the empty grave.
The moving service was televised. All of the bells of the cathedral were playing incessantly. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is a joyful celebration.
The Easter Day Greeting is "Christ is risen!" and the response is "Indeed He is Risen!"  Both greetings were said in many languages, in Greek, in Latin, in Slavic, in Russian, in English, in Karelian Finnish...
