"Uber dog-taxi - passenger hanging on precariously

Up at 8:30 (7:30 old time). Did this and that in the morning. Made my favourite shredded carrot, apple and gold raisin salad. Intended to make tapenade, but discovered we were out of green olives.

Walked down to the pier. Chatted to this soppy, gentle, 2 year old, staff cross (found abandoned tied outside a rescue centre) - attracting loads of attention as Easter beachgoers spotted the passenger on her back :)

Listened for a few minutes to a Salvation Army playing in the Lower Gardens. Mr B's old tennis pals was playing the Euphonium with them.

Then 1/2 pint of Aspall at 60 Million Postcards, followed by hunt the olives. Supermarkets all. closed. So bus to Lansdowne where luckily the Bulgarian store was open and even better had Bodrum green olives.

Not much else, except the rain has arrived (another yellow warning - almost one-a-day recently).
