Miniature Garden

A saxifrage flowering along with a Primula marginata, both planted in a 32cm clay pot along with a lot of other small plants.   A piece of tufa in the middle gives it a bit of height and in time I will look to plant something into it, the soft, porous structure makes this possible and suits certain plants very well.   Low morning sunlight an added bonus.

Happy Easter all.   Ruth and I started the day slowly but made a trip out this afternoon, to drop things off at pottery, mine and some miniatures that Ruth made at home.  Then an eggschange with Jamie and a visit to see Mum and Chris with little Easter gifts and make plans for Mum's Birthday which is this week.   After tea I dropped a meals-on-wheels portion in to Jamie who has a nasty cold before taking Meg to the ball field where John joined us.  Back to the caravan for hot chocolate and a chat then home via Jamie's to watch Beyond Paradise on catch-up with Ruth.  In the end, a full and happy day :-)
