it’s resurrection sunday

hallelujah and amen - most of us are - familiar with the story - of jesus being crucified - on a cross - his body wrapped in cloths - then laid in a - borrowed tomb, sealed with a huge boulder - how unlikely it was that - the rumors would hold - yet on that 3rd day - indeed the tomb was empty - what he said had - truly come to pass

“he is not here, but he has risen!” luke 24:6 (csb)

hope given; a promise made - a promise kept - proof that abba does - not default on his word to us - proof we continue to celebrate a savior - who is just as alive now as he was then - not faraway or abstract - not a false prophet either - but a risen, living messiah - who cares about you - born to set you and me - free from sin through - his life, death and resurrection - now providing hope every day - as the risen jesus - king forever, which makes this…
