The Tree in the river

Ok...So it's not your Tree in the lake and the river (Matukituki)  was nearly dry and anyway it was up the Matukituki Valley where we went for a serious catchup for the Autumn colours and we were a tad early.so we explored instead and there is a neat waterfall (Wishbone Falls) in extras.
The valley is about an hour from town and is also the starting place for some great back country walks.
