Gig

One of our neighbours was heading out to start his shift as a food delivery rider as I returned with fresh basil from the peoples’ planters out the front. This doesn’t fit today’s theme, The Fool. That would’ve been me, earlier, squeezing into my mother’s pleated tartan skirt. She was 20 cm shorter, and two dress sizes smaller.
