A Steamy Mono

After yesterday's aborted walk on Kelling Heath, I did the full walk today with my friend H with no problems. It was quite dull weather and we had a few spots of rain, fortunately whilst we had a drink under cover at the holiday village. Still no sign of any frogs at the pond, North Norfolk seems quite behind with Spring. We waited at the crossing for the steam train that was due and got some good shots at it was steaming well (we also got covered in the steam!). We spotted G and A at the crossing and walked the final bit of the walk with them.

Drum Roll..............we had less rain than average for March!!!!!! The previous 8 months had been considerably above average rainfall each month and a bigger rise than in most areas, but we only had 26.8mm of rain in March, 79% of the average.
